About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provides clinical, clerical, and administrative tasks in an OMP outpatient clinic
  • Under supervision and direction of a provider (physician or advanced practice clinician) or Medical Office Nurse Coordinator
  • Performs duties that are consistent with Medical Assistant education, training, experience, and certification

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma/GED required
  • Completion of Medical Assistant program accredited or approved by the Washington Department of Health required
  • One year of experience in health care in an outpatient clinic preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire
  • Current Medical Assistant – Certification issued by the WA State Department of Health
