About the role
- Creating and maintaining both manual and automated test cases
- Story testing as per the Scrum methodology
- Verification of documentation during story testing
- Contribute to release readiness by conducting regression, smoke, integration, and system testing
- Making sure the CI builds are installed and reporting when issues occur
- Release management
- Following agile development methodologies and scrum management techniques
- Database querying
- Maintenance of test and development environments
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in testing complex software systems, with at least 2 years focused on web application testing
- Strong SQL experience
- Web application testing experience
- Operating system and virtual machine skills
- Experience in maintaining testing environments
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Analytical and logical problem-solving skills
- Understanding of testing concepts and the role of a QA in Scrum
- Related qualification
- Strong knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST APIs)( at least 2 years experience)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into build processes (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
- Experience with browser debugging tools and network analysis (e.g., Chrome DevTools, Charles Proxy).
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Cypress).
