About the role
- As the Lead Product Designer, you will play a critical role in shaping the user experience and design strategy for Buyers and Sellers at OLX.
- You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create intuitive, impactful, and visually stunning designs that leverage OLX’s positioning to solve real-world problems.
- This role requires a deep understanding of user-centered design principles, a passion for AI-driven innovation, and the ability to lead our process, standards and rituals within the team.
- Our General Classifieds’ Platform team will act as a central hub, collaborating with existing teams to deliver end-to-end user experience solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in product design, with at least 3 years of hands-on leadership influence in large-scope initiatives.
- Proven experience working on AI or data-driven products is highly desirable.
- You have proven experience and ability in all different stages, from problem definition to development, testing, and implementation of user products.
- You thrive in a dynamic environment, enjoy working with unclear boundaries to shape a solution, and are a self-starter.
- You believe that being Data-Driven is the key to success for every business.
- You are a team player first and foremost and believe great things come from collaboration.
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong interpersonal skills.
- You are a self-starter and are solution-oriented, and you're able to prioritize and work with minimal supervision.
