  • We are looking for a Financial Partner to the General Manager of our “General Classifieds” Business Unit, Sylvie De Wever. This portfolio serves millions of consumers monthly, offering a vast array of products and services across Europe. The “General Classifieds” business is at a critical inflection point, requiring a strategic financial leader to navigate a varied portfolio of categories, each with unique opportunities and challenges.
  • To accomplish this, OLX is seeking an individual who will play a pivotal role in driving the financial success of “General Classifieds” and will work closely with the General Manager and the Leadership Team to provide strategic financial insights, drive business growth, and ensure operational efficiency. By partnering with internal teams, the Finance Business Partner will ensure that financial planning and decision-making are aligned with OLX’s goals, enabling us to continue leading in the online marketplace.

  • The role will report directly to OLX’s Chief Financial Officer, Suresh Krishnan, and can be based in any of the locations where OLX has operations.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in working in a Finance leadership role, supporting business growth. Understanding of the technology-driven businesses/e-commerce/marketplace and/or classifieds sector is required. Experience managing complex, multi-vertical portfolios is a plus.
  • Expertise in financial analysis, modelling, and accounting principles. Adept in data analytics for generating insights and driving performance.
  • Strong communication abilities & problem-solving skills to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights. Build collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Align financial recommendations with business goals through strategic insight. Solve complex problems with innovative solutions and maintain a practical approach. Ability to think strategically about disruptive technologies (like AI) and competitive market shifts.
  • University degree in a relevant field.
  • Stay updated with industry advancements and technological tools. Engage in continuous learning to enhance knowledge and expertise.
