About the role
- Product Strategy & Discovery: You will shape and drive the strategy at a product pack level. You will autonomously resolve customer problems by defining clear problem statements and using lean methodologies to validate hypotheses before building.
- Data-Informed Decision Making: You will use data to inform your decisions and autonomously consult data sources to identify opportunities. You will balance quantitative analysis with qualitative user research to prioritize the backlog effectively, even when data volume is low.
- Strategic Collaboration & Go to Market: You will manage a consistent set of cross-functional stakeholders. You will work closely with Sales, Commercial, Marketing, and Customer Service to align on business goals and ensure your product outcomes support their success (e.g., reducing support friction, enabling sales conversations).
- Delivery Oversight: While Engineering leads the execution, you work to keep delivery consistent and timely. You are responsible for the strategic context, identifying dependencies with other product packs, and ensuring the team is solving the right customer needs.
- Stakeholder Influence: You will present your point of view concisely and objectively. You will use storytelling to align stakeholders on the value of B2B improvements and argue your points without being defensive or aggressive.
Requirements
- Experience: Mid-level Product Manager experience, ideally within Jobs, Recruitment, or HR Tech. You understand the B2B recruitment landscape (Employer Panels, Dashboards, ATS) and the specific pain points of listers.
- Data Fluency: You are fluent in using data to inform decisions. You can spot opportunities in the numbers and are comfortable testing ideas to achieve meaningful incremental performance.
- User-Centric Mindset: You have a strong "user first, monetization second" mentality. You validate concepts that lead to meaningful business decisions and believe that revenue follows user value.
- Tech & Business Fluency: You have a good understanding of the technical mechanics that influence your domain and solid financial literacy regarding how your product contributes to the business.
