About the role
- Spearhead the design and engineering of substations as part of significant power delivery projects.
- Manage project phases from inception to completion, including planning, conducting studies, and overseeing construction.
- Serve as the Project Manager, liaising directly with clients to meet specifications, budgets, and deadlines.
- Work closely with internal teams to deliver engineering solutions that uphold Olsson’s standards of quality.
- Travel to project sites and participate in client meetings as necessary to ensure project success and client satisfaction.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to contribute and work well with a team
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
- Must be a registered Professional Engineer (PE).
- At least eight years of engineering experience, with increasing responsibility.
