About the role
- Join Olsson’s Federal Engineering and Design Team as a Project Structural Engineer, contributing to high-impact federal projects including military installations and VA facilities.
- Lead structural design efforts for federal projects, including DoD and VA facilities.
- Perform engineering analysis and develop construction documents for vertical infrastructure.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate structural systems with architectural, mechanical, and electrical components.
- Ensure compliance with UFC, IBC, and other federal design standards.
- Support proposal development and participate in federal RFP responses.
- Provide mentorship to junior engineers and contribute to team development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering with a structural emphasis.
- PE or SE license required.
- 6+ years of experience in structural design, preferably with federal clients.
- Familiarity with Autodesk Revit and structural analysis software.
- Experience with DoD or VA design standards and processes.
- Strong communication and project management skills.
