About the role
- Drive brand presence via content and community building on local market social channels and support paid initiatives.
- Foster and build social community through Meta, Pinterest, YouTube across the client’s brands.
- Engage with consumers and audiences, perform social listening, monitor trends and competition.
- Bring best-in-class recommendations to client's brand and media team; develop, implement, track and optimise content across social platforms.
- Represent the voice of the consumer: monitor conversations, post content and manage daily operations of social channels.
- Manage all inbound comments with appropriate responses and escalations.
- Proactive community management to foster relationships and advocacy within social audiences.
- Posting and scheduling all content; day-to-day management/distribution of predominantly paid content across digital and social channels (Sprinklr knowledge a plus).
- Help build, grow, and manage online communities for client’s key consumer brands.
- Identify and track relevant community data metrics; develop monthly reporting and outline key insights and implications.
- Champion creativity and deliver excellent customer experiences through content planning; work with onsite studio and media agency to optimise creative.
- Brief and manage creatives/designers to ensure assets are created within brand guidelines.
- Act as brand guardian to ensure all work produced is faithful to the client’s brand guidelines.
- Adopt and use the brand’s voice when responding to and engaging with the user community.
- Work closely with the Social Media Manager in EE and support the Social Team with campaign planning and agency liaison.
- Build relationships with clients through regular meetings and exceptional servicing.
- Apply knowledge of industry benchmarks for reach, engagement, view rates, sentiment, etc. (Italy and Iberian markets desirable).
Requirements
- Approximately 1-3 yrs experience in online communications be it via editorial, social, or advertising.
- Passion for delivering on-brand and on-brief social communications
- Pro-active planning and leadership of creative community initiatives
- Practical know-how of how to manage social media channels especially with their intricacies
- Someone who keeps abreast of pop culture, loves a meme, and keeps on top of internet trends, with special focus on Hungarian, Romanian or Bulgarian market.
- Fluent in English is a must in order to manage the frequent catch ups and decks for clients, with teammates across Europe and with partner agencies.
- Knowledge of other Eastern European languages and cultures as Ukrainian, Romanian, Hungarian or Czech
- Must have flawless written Romanian or Hungarian, including punctuation and spelling.
- A thirst to learn more and to discover new and exciting trends within the social space
- Experience using analytical/social listening tools such as Sprinklr for reporting and to gather insights
- The ability to manage and filter workflow as well as organise and prioritise workloads to maximise productivity.
- Understanding of how to integrate with a client-side team whilst maintaining a top tier agency service.
- Experience working with global lifestyle brands – ideally in the alcohol or drink sector.
- Post-secondary education in communications, journalism, business, marketing or related field.
