About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- The Kroger Customer Planning Manager will increase sales efficiency through strategic insights.
- Collaborate with revenue growth management, finance, and demand teams.
- Develop and manage accurate sales, production, and operational targets.
- Maintain accurate promotional planning and spending information.
- Work with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply departments to ensure alignment.
- Analyze performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Effectively communicate strategies to field teams and 3rd party merchandising partners.
- Provide necessary customer support functions to ensure optimal sales.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of customer planning and/or retailer account management experience within the CPG industry
- Direct experience working with Kroger at the headquarters level
- Hands-on experience with Market 6 and Kroger On Demand capabilities
- Proficiency in Anaplan (or similar forecasting tools), Syndigo/1WorldSync, and Kroger new item setup processes
- Experience operating across a hybrid route-to-market model, including Warehouse, KeHE, and DSD partners
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to translate data into clear, compelling insights for leadership
- Demonstrated ability to align sales execution with strategic business goals through data-driven storytelling and insights
