About the role
- Maintain OLIPOP Quality document control systems
- Assist Supply Chain team members in the creation and proper formatting of documents.
- Organize and archive documents as necessary.
- Review all SOPs for completeness and accuracy with stakeholders on a regular basis.
- Administer and continuously improve OLIPOP’s quality and food safety management systems.
- At the direction of the Sr. Quality Manager develop, review, update, and implement all quality and food safety policies to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives backed by identifying trends, risks, and KPIs.
- Track, trend, and report QMS metrics and KPIs
- Support system validation and verification activities.
- Perform trace exercises to support Quality Specialists with copacker investigations.
- Collect, analyze, and trend quality data provided by contract manufacturing partners including production data, consumer complaints, CAPAs, and nonconformances.
- Prepare clear, data driven reports and presentations for leadership and cross functional teams.
- Identify opportunities to improve data integrity, reporting efficiency, and system automation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Quality Assurance & Quality Control experience in food & beverage manufacturing. Beverage experience preferred.
- Experience developing and implementing document control processes.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required, and prior experience with Microsoft Office preferred. Experience with EDI systems (i.e Netsuite) Sharepoint, warehouse portals, and investigation platforms are a plus.
- Good organizational skills and ability to handle complex situations involving multiple SKU’s, channels, and distribution models.
- Transparent, open/honest communicator - a great listener who can work independently while keeping other team members informed
- Strong attention to detail and deadline oriented with the ability to organize assignments, set priorities, and carry out plans.
