About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Reporting to VP Enterprise Procurement.
  • Direct & consult the development of complex procurement sourcing strategies for gaming and lottery divisions.
  • Establish priorities, process and timelines associated with all procurement activities.
  • Engage with procurement leadership on the development, implementation & usage of reports and insights.
  • Act as the first line of support from procurement to divisional end users.
  • Direct & consult on the overall team execution of sourcing events.
  • Oversee the negotiation & supporting finalization of commercial agreements with suppliers.
  • Participate in relevant divisional business planning and review sessions.
  • Lead team of direct report(s) and support ongoing development, mentorship and growth.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10+ years Sourcing experience.
  • 5+ years Procurement Management Experience.
  • Experience with spend analytics and identifying savings opportunities.
  • Knowledge of Procurement Law and Ontario public sector procurement practices are an asset.
  • Experience in reviewing competitive documents against vendor proposals is an asset.
  • Sound knowledge of all OLG Operations in relation to Procurement and contractual requirements and/or government procurement would be an asset.
  • University Degree (Supply Chain or Business preferred).
  • NISCL/SCMA Certification an asset.
  • Knowledge of the source to contract process.
  • In depth knowledge of sourcing within applicable category.
