Platform Engineer

• Lead the build-out of platform engineering at OWL and set long-term direction for infrastructure, security, and developer enablement
• Partner with the VP of Engineering, product, and data teams to guide platform strategy and establish standards
• Build reusable tools, patterns, and automation that give engineers autonomy (self-service capabilities)
• Build Terraform modules, deployment scripts, and CI/CD workflows for developer self-service
• Guide AWS infrastructure design and operations to ensure reliability, scalability, and efficiency
• Lead SOC 2 readiness and enforce least-privilege access across AWS and databases; ISO 27001 experience relevant
• Expand monitoring and product analytics with Datadog and PostHog so system health and product usage are visible and actionable
• Stay hands-on while setting standards and delivering platform initiatives across multiple teams
