Real Estate Title Auditor
Old Republic TitleAgency Auditor conducting audits of title agency operations throughout Florida. Engaging in financial analysis, risk assessment, and developing business relationships.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct audits and reviews of title agency operations, escrow practices, and financial records
- Identify risks, trends, compliance concerns, and operational improvement opportunities
- Prepare detailed audit findings and recommendations for management and agency partners
- Communicate professionally with agents, leadership, and internal stakeholders regarding audit results and corrective actions
- Analyze documentation and financial information to ensure adherence to company standards and industry regulations
- Maintain accurate audit workpapers and records
- Travel throughout Florida to conduct agency audits and strengthen relationships with agency partners
- Collaborate with internal teams to support risk management initiatives and promote best practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- Background in title insurance, escrow operations, real estate transactions, accounting, auditing, banking, compliance, or financial services
- Experience reviewing financial records, reconciliations, or operational processes
- Ability to identify discrepancies, assess risk, and make sound recommendations
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Sound judgment, initiative, and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Outlook
- Ability to build productive relationships with internal and external partners
