Key responsibilities & impact

Work closely with business units, subject matter experts, and technical resources to identify business needs.
Define key metrics, develop requirements, and design reports and dashboards that support data-driven decisions.
Formulate and define objectives and scope of work through independent research and fact-finding.
Maintain an understanding of applicable database, data analysis or data development best practices.
Apply continuously updated skills and knowledge to use, design or modify moderately complex databases, data analysis requirements, and data development projects.
Work with project teams and hold responsibility for the completion of all phases of a project.
Provide guidance and training to less-experienced team members.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Typically has 5-10 years of relevant experience.
Advanced knowledge of Power BI including data modeling, transformations, and visualizations concepts.
Advanced knowledge of SQL including writing queries for analysis and validation as well as creating objects such as views, stored procedures and functions.
Understanding of the software development lifecycle process.
Lead working sessions with technical and business users.
Ability to communicate effectively, document requirements and present content at the appropriate technical or non-technical level for the intended audience.
