About the role

  • Developing and examining rate filings for title insurance products, to ensure compliance with state-specific rules and regulations.
  • Analyzing high-level system specifications, identifying trends, and creating, reviewing, and testing rating algorithms and models.
  • Ensuring accuracy in rate calculations, assessing the impact of rates on policy forms, and preparing documentation, such as justification support for rate filings, rate templates, analytical spreadsheets.
  • Evaluating risks involved for both the company and the policyholder, ensuring rates are fair to customers and profitable for the company.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Risk Management, Insurance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2–5+ years of experience in title insurance, rate analysis, regulatory filings, or insurance compliance
  • Familiarity with state insurance department filing processes (SERFF)
  • Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
