About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain scalable pricing and actuarial processing infrastructure
  • Improve the stability, efficiency, usability, and control of business-critical actuarial solutions
  • Identify and implement opportunities to automate manual actuarial and business processes
  • Design and implement data pipelines and ETL processes to support pricing, actuarial operations, reporting, and analytics
  • Translate business problems into practical, scalable, and maintainable technical solutions
  • Ensure solutions comply with model risk, IT, data, and broader risk management requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Actuarial student making good progress with actuarial exams
  • At least 4 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience in an actuarial operations, pricing operations, technical enablement, or business solutioning environment would be an advantage.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365
  • Advanced Excel, VBA, and Power Query skills
  • Solid Python or C# development skills
  • Working understanding of CI/CD and modern deployment practices
  • Exposure to Amazon Web Services (AWS), particularly S3, Redshift, and related cloud and data services, will be advantageous.
