About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the end-to-end design, development, and maintenance of web applications, ensuring they meet high standards for functionality, performance, and user experience.
- Create responsive and user-friendly interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Manage server-side development, including the selection and use of programming languages and frameworks like Node.js, Python, Ruby, Django, etc.
- Design, optimize, and manage database schemas, queries, and interactions using relational and NoSQL databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.
- Drive architectural decisions, system design, and code reviews to ensure scalable and maintainable software solutions.
- Establish testing strategies, develop unit tests, and provide expertise in debugging and optimizing code for performance and reliability.
- Work on integrating APIs and third-party services, focusing on security, scalability, and efficiency.
- Implement DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud services to optimize application deployment and scaling.
- Mentor and collaborate with junior and intermediate developers, contributing to team growth, knowledge sharing, and best practices.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 8+ years of experience as a Full-Stack Software Engineer, with a track record of delivering complex projects.
- Expertise in front-end technologies, including Next.JS, Typescript, HTML CSS, Javascript, React, Vue.js, and modern frontend development practices.
- Familiarity with Observability and Monitoring tooling: Grafana, Dynatrace.
- Familiarity with Analytics Tracking tooling: Google Analytics 4.
- Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Ruby) and expertise in web application frameworks.
- In-depth knowledge of database systems, including design, optimization, and complex query writing.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, with a focus on optimizing application performance.
- Exceptional communication, teamwork, and leadership abilities.
- Commitment to staying updated with emerging industry trends and technologies.
- Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
