About the role

  • Provide personal financial advice to customers as an Advancing Financial Adviser within Old Mutual’s Personal Financial Advice (PFA) channel
  • Build and grow an adviser practice, define own career path and forge client relationships
  • Use consultative selling and customer-focused approaches to identify customer needs and sales opportunities
  • Maintain and manage sales data and use sales software to track prospects and performance
  • Collaborate with PFA network and use company tools/support to deliver exceptional advice and quality service

Requirements

  • A minimum of Matric or equivalent
  • A minimum 12 months’ financial services experience as a Financial Adviser
  • A minimum of Long-term Insurance Class of Business completion
  • Completion of additional FAIS requirements such as Investments Class of Business, the Regulatory Examination 5 (RE5), an FSCA-approved qualification will be advantageous
  • A valid driver’s licence and own car
  • A clear criminal and credit check
