About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop procedures and interpret and apply policy for area of expertise to achieve specified outputs, or advise the wider business on application of policy.
  • Monitor implementation of those procedures within the organization.
  • Identify requirements for HR frameworks and tools for recruitment, performance management, development, career and succession planning, compensation and benefits, diversity, employee onboarding and offboarding, and retention of talent.
  • Provide specialist advice on the interpretation and application of policies and procedures, resolving complex or contentious queries and empowering others.
  • Investigate complex hypotheses using HR data to diagnose underlying causes of key business issues and identify opportunities to enhance employee engagement and improve business performance.
  • Act as subject matter expert in an area of technology, policy, regulation, or operational management for the team.
  • Manage relationships with internal clients and act as a business partner to them, building high levels of professional credibility and mutual trust.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3-year degree (NQF Level 7) HR Related field
  • Honours in Human Resources/Industrial Psychology or related field will be advantageous.
  • Experience in engaging with Senior Business Executives for business support functions
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant Human Capital experience as an HCBP or Generalist with exposure to the following:
  • Culture Transformation
  • Organisational Design
  • Performance Talent & Succession Planning
  • Talent Acquisition
  • Employee Relations
  • Change Management
  • Organisational Development/Effectiveness.
