About the role
- Lead tax-specific work within the wider rural portfolio
- Collaborate closely with the Rural Advisers and liaise with the Tax Team
- Support the Rural Advisers in preparing tax-related reports, accounts, and non-compliance work
- Review and oversee the preparation of tax returns and accounts
- Identify opportunities to add value to rural businesses
- Build strong, long-term relationships with rural clients.
Requirements
- Solid accountancy background
- Experience handling tax aspects of client work
- Excellent communication skills to build strong relationships with rural clients and colleagues
- Previous experience in a similar role within a practice environment is essential
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts and deadlines effectively.
