About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Architect and steer the comprehensive 360 trade marketing strategy across the North American professional channel
- Lead development and execution of GTM commercial plans for product innovations, promotions, seasonal events, visual merchandising, and digital commerce activations
- Translate global brand visions and campaigns into channel-specific realities for salon professionals and distribution networks
- Lead marketing strategy for monthly business updates, line reviews, and joint-business planning sessions with key pro partners
- Oversee the professional trade marketing and events budget, KPIs, campaign and event profitability, and financial optimization
- Set the strategic vision, calendar, and execution blueprint for North American B2B trade shows, industry events, and stylist activations
- Elevate OLAPLEX’s physical brand presence through visual merchandising, live staging, and on-site storytelling
- Partner with Sales, Field and Education, Operations, and Creative teams on regional event execution
- Lead, mentor, and inspire the Trade Marketing Team and Events + Trade team
- Collaborate with Global Brand Marketing on upstream GTM strategies
- Co-author customer training materials and community-building initiatives with Global Education
- Align Pro and Retail trade marketing and share best practices
- Integrate trade marketing and event initiatives with Communications, PR, earned media, social media, and influencer/stylist advocacy programs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree with a focus on marketing, communications, or a business-related field
- 8–10+ years of progressive marketing experience
- At least 3+ years at a leadership/director level managing a team and overseeing Beauty and/or Professional Salon channels
- Demonstrated success leading large-scale trade shows, corporate events, and experiential marketing activations within the B2B or beauty space
- Proven track record designing 360 full-funnel trade campaigns that drive commercial revenue, product adoption, and customer retention
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to act as a thought leader and influence global and regional cross-functional peers and external partners
- Demonstrated success pulling global innovation and campaigns through a full funnel with a strategic, always-on approach to key core products
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to turn complex market data, event ROI analyses, and competitive insights into actionable growth strategies
- Proactive, collaborative, agile “go-getter” mindset
- Deep passion for the beauty industry and professional stylist community
