About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide operational and commercial support to the cotton trading desk, managing commercial positions, monitoring credit limits, interfacing with risk teams, and supporting origination processes with producers, brokers, and commercial partners
- Update and monitor physical positions on a daily basis
- Manage cotton purchase and sale contracts
- Monitor exposure by client
- Support traders by consolidating information for decision-making
- Validate volumes, prices, fixings, and terms of transactions
- Prepare management reports and controls using Excel/SAP
- Monitor utilization of credit limits and maturities
- Request credit analyses from the risk management area
- Track approvals, renewals, and updates to client registration
- Serve as focal point between the trading desk, producers, brokers, and risk/credit teams
- Ensure organization and timely updating of controls and reports
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree completed
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Experience managing controls and reports
- Experience controlling credit limits and client documentation
- Knowledge of agricultural commodity operations
- Experience with SAP is a plus
