About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, including, but not limited to, NDAs, Master Service Agreements, Statements of Work, Data Processing Agreements, marketing services agreements, and amendments.
- Work closely with business stakeholders and vendors to negotiate and execute contracts that are key to OKX's future growth.
- Apply OKX's SOP or design new SOPs to support OKX's commercial objectives while following applicable regulations and otherwise managing legal and regulatory risk.
- Maintain organised records of contracts and various legal documents across multiple group entities and jurisdictions.
- Collaborate with business units and legal team members to design, develop, and implement legal processes, training programmes, internal guidelines, and playbooks to drive efficiencies and build for scale.
- Assist with special projects as needed.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree or above from an accredited college or university; a law degree (LLB, JD, or equivalent) is strongly preferred.
- Candidates without a law degree but with substantial prior law firm and/or in-house paralegal/legal analyst experience will also be considered.
- Demonstrated ability to independently develop and implement various legal processes, policies, and playbooks.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift rapidly while maintaining accuracy and sound legal judgement.
- Experience working across multiple jurisdictions and with cross-border commercial agreements is an advantage.
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and sound commercial judgment.
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
- Experience with contract lifecycle management platforms (e.g. Ironclad) and e-signature tools (e.g. Docusign) is preferred.
