About the role

  • Take charge of the hotel's technical and IT installations and provide staff training (fire safety)
  • Ensure the proper operation and maintenance of all hotel technical installations in collaboration with hotel and housekeeping teams
  • Implement rigorous tracking of requests from the front desk and housekeeping teams
  • Resolve issues promptly and collaboratively
  • Carry out minor maintenance work
  • Advise the hotel manager on the need for specialized interventions
  • Ensure follow-up on Guarantees of Perfect Completion (post-construction warranty matters)
  • Establish and maintain a preventive maintenance plan
  • Manage maintenance contracts and relationships with subcontractors
  • Propose improvements for the upkeep of the building and furniture
  • Implement and monitor the sanitary logbook (including water hygiene procedures)
  • Organize and track safety and fire training for all hotel staff
  • Keep the hotel's safety register up to date
  • Monitor and optimize energy consumption

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing and new technologies (electrical certification / Habilitation électrique required)
  • General knowledge of various building trades; versatility
  • Good interpersonal skills and sound situational judgment
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in the hospitality industry
  • Proficiency with IT tools and computer applications
