About the role
- Support integrated mine closure planning from early-stage planning through to relinquishment
- Work with mining companies to return land responsibly and safely
- Advocate for meaningful partnerships with communities, including Indigenous rightsholders
- Design solutions that create lasting financial, environmental, and social value
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary and global teams across Okane
- Participate in environmental, geotechnical, hydrogeology and engineering project work
- Contribute to personal and professional development and company initiatives
Requirements
- Students from their second to penultimate year in one of the following disciplines (or similar): Mining Engineering; Environmental Engineering; Geotechnical Engineering; Civil Engineering; Geology; Geochemistry; Ecology; Hydrogeology; Environmental Management
- New or soon-to-be graduates encouraged to apply
