About the role

- Advising managers on corrective actions and performance improvement plans.
- Managing the performance of HR team members.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of five years of progressive human resources experience.
- Minimum of three years of direct employee relations experience.
- Prior supervisory or people-management experience is required, including responsibility for coaching, developing, and managing the performance of HR team members.
- California HR experience is required, including demonstrated knowledge of California employment laws and HR practices.
- Demonstrated experience conducting and documenting complex workplace investigations involving harassment, discrimination, retaliation, policy violations, conflicts of interest, and other sensitive employee matters.
- Experience advising managers on corrective actions, performance improvement plans, involuntary terminations, and other risk-sensitive employment decisions.
- Experience supporting a multi-location and multi-state workforce.
- Working knowledge of wage-and-hour requirements, leaves of absence, disability accommodations, the interactive process, harassment prevention, and workplace safety.
- Ability to interpret and consistently apply company policies and employment requirements.
- Strong written communication, documentation, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and manage competing priorities.
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
