About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Maintain visual observation of patients at all times
- Verbally redirect patients using the digital two-way audio device in the patient room
- Immediately summon nursing staff when a patient requires assistance
- Participate in collaborative identification and reporting of patient safety issues
- Demonstrate safe work practices and attitudes
- Follow safety rules and help prevent unsafe conditions and behaviors
- Focus on safety, quality, and efficiency while performing job duties
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or GED required
- BLS to be completed during orientation
- Customer service skills
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to focus on a particular subject or task for an extended period
- Ability to analyze and synthesize patient care information to formulate patient-specific care recommendations
- Minimum of one year of healthcare or service-related industry experience preferred
