About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Analyze and document current business processes and workflows
Identify system requirements and translate them into detailed specifications
Design and implement solutions to improve system efficiency and user experience
Provide advanced support for Epic, Workday, UKG, and other applications
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues in a timely manner
Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for system upgrades and patches
Integrate healthcare applications across the IT portfolio with other IT systems
Manage smaller projects related to system implementations and upgrades
Lead project teams using project management methodologies
Create and maintain documentation for system configurations and processes
Mentor junior analysts and provide guidance on best practices
Ensure seamless integration between healthcare applications
Manage data integrity and security across systems
Perform data analysis and generate reports as needed
Liaise with managed service providers, vendors, and operational leadership
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues
Support safety, quality, and efficiency as part of a High Reliability Organization

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree in computer science, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required
In lieu of degree, 10+ years of experience in system analysis and support within a healthcare environment
Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in system analysis and support within a healthcare environment
Extensive experience with Epic, Workday, and UKG applications
Proven track record of managing complex projects and leading cross-functional teams
Experience with system integration and data migration projects
Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience liaising with managed service providers, vendors, and operational leadership
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies
ITIL Foundation certification desired, not required
Certifications in relevant technologies such as Epic, Workday, Microsoft, or UKG
Advanced degree in a related field is a plus
Experience in a large healthcare system or hospital setting
Experience with other healthcare applications and systems
Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards
Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS and Azure
Experience with business intelligence and analytics tools
