About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Obtain assigned cleaning or maintenance requests from automated systems, assignment sheets, or verbal direction
- Clean and maintain patient rooms, public areas, service areas, assigned carts, and other defined areas
- Move beds or furniture as needed to service customers or complete cleaning
- Follow departmental and organizational processes and complete required paperwork
- Use equipment properly and maintain its cleanliness
- Submit work orders and paperwork for equipment and miscellaneous hospital items
- Stock assigned carts and areas, including linen distribution
- Perform storeroom maintenance and other assigned duties
- Provide high-level customer service to patients and other customers
- Perform duties with focus on safety, quality, and efficiency
Requirements

- Ability to read and follow directions
- Demonstrated customer service skills
- Ability to follow proper equipment usage and departmental processes
