About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Obtain assigned cleaning or maintenance requests from automated systems, assignment sheets, or verbal direction
  • Clean and maintain patient rooms, public areas, service areas, assigned carts, and other defined areas
  • Move beds or furniture as needed to service customers or complete cleaning
  • Follow departmental and organizational processes and complete required paperwork
  • Use equipment properly and maintain its cleanliness
  • Submit work orders and paperwork for equipment and miscellaneous hospital items
  • Stock assigned carts and areas, including linen distribution
  • Perform storeroom maintenance and other assigned duties
  • Provide high-level customer service to patients and other customers
  • Perform duties with focus on safety, quality, and efficiency
