About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide wellness services to companies contracted with OhioHealth Employer Solutions
  • Design and plan wellness programs
  • Deliver onsite health education and presentations
  • Launch wellness challenges and healthy lifestyle programming
  • Assist with wellness committee coordination
  • Liaise with the Employer Solutions account manager to recommend additional client programs and services
  • Conduct biometric testing at employer screenings, including cholesterol, glucose, A1c, cotinine, blood pressure, height, weight, waist, BMI, and body fat percentage measurements
  • Interpret biometric results and counsel participants on healthy lifestyle improvements
  • Provide primary care physician referral information and condition-specific education
  • Serve as a wellness coach to individuals and groups
  • Coordinate with the team to ensure smooth employer events
  • Act as team lead or primary event contact when indicated
  • Use and maintain knowledge of the online scheduling tool for employer events
  • Participate in annual trainings, certifications, and competencies
  • Perform other duties as requested by the supervisor or manager

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree in Health or a related field
  • At least 1 year of experience
  • Licensed Dietician in the State of Ohio
  • Registered Dietitian (RD)
  • Appropriate professional licensure
  • Registered Dietitian credential from the Commission on Dietetic Registration
