About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Utilize evidence-based nutrition care to assess and reassess patient nutrition risk and identify nutrition needs
Develop parental and enteral feeding regimes
Create and implement nutrition protocols
Provide nutrition counseling to patients and families
Participate in multidisciplinary interaction and education
Coordinate nutrition therapy with physicians and other health care professionals
Educate and train interdisciplinary team members, students, and interns
Monitor and evaluate patient response to medical nutrition therapy
Document accurately and completely
Comply with all regulatory standards

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree (Required)
Years of Experience: 1 (Required)
Registered, Licensed Dietitian with at least two or more years' experience in the acute care setting
Advanced degree and/or certification (CNSD, CDE, CNCP) may be desired
Excellent analytic, communication, and documentation skills
Effective time management skills/organization
Able to communicate effectively in English in-person, in writing, and on the telephone
Basic computer skills.
