Office Supervisor

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Supervises office staff may include positions such as registration, clerical, administrative, unit coordinator, etc.
- Manages workflow and delegates duties.
- Assists manager with interviewing, hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Provides leadership, direction and coaching to staff to help reach potential.
- Trains new office staff.
- Assists manager with daily operational needs as required.
- Attends meetings in absence of manager.
- Acts as resource and/or escalation point for staff, physicians, employees and managers.
- Coordinates and assists with office staff functions such as: scheduling patient appointments, answering phones, completing patient intakes, confirming appointments.
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School or GED (Required)
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- 1-2 yrs. related Experience as Team Leader or supervisor with 6 yrs. progressive, related Experience, preferably in a medical setting.
