About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Demonstrates the ability to perform phlebotomy and a variety of technical and clerical functions in the Laboratory
  • Performs routine laboratory procedures based on principles of human growth and development
  • Handles blood, tissue, fecal matter, sputum, urine, spinal fluid and other body fluids
  • Adheres to Safety and Infection Control practices
  • Provides customer service to clinicians and clients
  • Trains new employees and students
  • Maintains competencies and mandatory required education (ACE)

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School or GED (Required)
  • Driver's License - Department of Motor Vehicles
  • 6 months - 1 year experience in phlebotomy and/or specimen processing
