Medical Assistant

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for administrative and clinical duties delegated by the physician
- Assists physician with patient care in compliance with the Ohio Administrative Code
- Facilitates efficient and effective patient flow including preparing the patient for the visit
- Performs necessary administrative duties that assure all information is current and updated
- Engages in continuous study of the entire professional field, including best practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Graduate or GED
- Completion of formal education via an accredited Medical Assistant program or High School Career Tech Medical Assistant program
- 1+ years equivalent experience working as a Medical Assistant in an applicable ambulatory setting or Military Medic training or Paramedic training (EMT-P)
- BLS Certification
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
