About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead vendor management initiatives across the revenue cycle, including onboarding, performance monitoring, and offboarding activities.
- Serve as an escalation point between revenue cycle operations and third-party vendors.
- Establish and monitor vendor performance metrics, SLAs, and KPIs.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization related to vendor services.
- Support contract review, negotiation, and renewal activities in partnership with supply chain and legal teams.
- Develop and maintain standardized processes, tools, and reporting for vendor oversight.
- Manage project plans, timelines, risks, and deliverables for vendor-related initiatives.
- Prepare executive-level summaries and presentations on vendor performance and strategic opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
- Collaborate with IT and operations teams on integration, automation, and system optimization efforts involving vendors.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree: Finance
- PMP - Project Management Professional - Project Management Institute
- Deep understanding of the healthcare revenue cycle
- Expertise in hospital patient accounting systems
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and payer guidelines
- Demonstrated experience in leading complex projects within a healthcare environment
- Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and best practices
- Strong communication skills.
