About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead vendor management initiatives across the revenue cycle, including onboarding, performance monitoring, and offboarding activities.
  • Serve as an escalation point between revenue cycle operations and third-party vendors.
  • Establish and monitor vendor performance metrics, SLAs, and KPIs.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization related to vendor services.
  • Support contract review, negotiation, and renewal activities in partnership with supply chain and legal teams.
  • Develop and maintain standardized processes, tools, and reporting for vendor oversight.
  • Manage project plans, timelines, risks, and deliverables for vendor-related initiatives.
  • Prepare executive-level summaries and presentations on vendor performance and strategic opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
  • Collaborate with IT and operations teams on integration, automation, and system optimization efforts involving vendors.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree: Finance
  • PMP - Project Management Professional - Project Management Institute
  • Deep understanding of the healthcare revenue cycle
  • Expertise in hospital patient accounting systems
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and payer guidelines
  • Demonstrated experience in leading complex projects within a healthcare environment
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and best practices
  • Strong communication skills.
