About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the deep technical expert for Cybersecurity principles spanning network, application, system, cloud, and end point use cases
- Guide teams through technical issues and challenges
- Collaborate with architects, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and peers providing technical expertise
- Create, review, and approve technical documentation for applications supported
- Analyze, plan, justify, schedule, and coordinate the implementation and maintenance of the specialty area’s administrative, operational, and financial initiatives
- Lead the development of technology strategy and roadmap within a given area of specialty
- Work with 3rd party vendors to negotiate contracts and develop reporting metrics
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in network security, preferably in a healthcare environment
- In-depth knowledge of network security technologies, including NGFW, IPS, VPNs, Proxies, SASE, WAF, DoS protections, NAC, Radius, SDWAN, and WLAN security
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA)
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, CCNP Security, or equivalent
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
