About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- To competently interpret the patient's history and baseline level of function
- Complete an assessment appropriate to the patient's areas of deficits
- Establish and carry out a plan of care based on identified problems
- Includes patient treatment and reassessment, instruction, discharge planning, documentation, and communication
- Oversees and supervises provision of care by physical therapist assistants
- Documents evaluation, plan of care, progress toward goals, discharge plan/continuity of care
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree: Physical Therapy (Required)
- LIC - Licensed in Field - State of Ohio
- CPR certification recognized by the American Heart Association
- Basic computer skills
- Experience in outpatient realm with focus for the neurologic population
- Entry-level new graduate, if facility has at least one veteran Physical Therapist to mentor, otherwise, at least one year of clinical experience
