Senior Consultant, Safety

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Works under the direction of Dir Safety, Environment of Care & Emergency Mgmt
- Responsible for monitoring and improving the Environment of Care and Safety program
- Monitors and maintains the hospitals compliance with JCAHO, OSHA, EPA and state and local regulations
- Provides oversight for the hospital risk assessment and emergency preparedness program
- Designs and conducts employee safety training
- Conducts general safety and life safety inspections and compliance audits
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree (Required)
- Field of Study: A safety related discipline / Industrial Hygiene
- 3 Years of Experience in the management of healthcare safety.
- Recent Life safety Code certificate
- Experience in the application of JCAHO Environment of Care standards
