About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide skilled nursing services to patients under the direction of a physician or midlevel provider
Provide related services to maintain a safe, therapeutic environment
Collect patient health data and analyze data to determine diagnoses
Identify expected patient outcomes individualized to the patient
Develop plans of care prescribing interventions to attain expected outcomes
Implement interventions identified in plans of care
Evaluate patient progress toward attainment of outcomes
Work collaboratively with the healthcare team
Perform professional nursing work and patient care according to physicians' direction and organizational objectives and policies
Provide patient and family health education and health assessment
Work within clinic operating hours: Monday–Friday 4:00pm–10:00pm and Saturday–Sunday 10:00am–6:00pm

Requirements

What you’ll need

Associate Degree in Nursing from a CCNE- or ACEN-accredited nursing program
Current Ohio Registered Nurse license
CPR/BLS certification
Knowledge of triage procedures and clinic, physician office, and/or urgent care experience
Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards
Knowledge of procedures and standards for administering medications and patient care aids
Ability to educate and clearly communicate with patients and/or families about disease, care, and treatment
Ability to convey information in writing and verbally
High interpersonal skills for handling sensitive and confidential situations
Demonstrated poise, tact, and diplomacy
Analytical ability and critical thinking to gather and interpret data and develop, recommend, and implement solutions
