About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide skilled nursing services to patients under the direction of a physician or midlevel provider
- Provide related services to maintain a safe, therapeutic environment
- Collect patient health data and analyze data to determine diagnoses
- Identify expected patient outcomes individualized to the patient
- Develop plans of care prescribing interventions to attain expected outcomes
- Implement interventions identified in plans of care
- Evaluate patient progress toward attainment of outcomes
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team
- Perform professional nursing work and patient care according to physicians' direction and organizational objectives and policies
- Provide patient and family health education and health assessment
- Work within clinic operating hours: Monday–Friday 4:00pm–10:00pm and Saturday–Sunday 10:00am–6:00pm
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associate Degree in Nursing from a CCNE- or ACEN-accredited nursing program
- Current Ohio Registered Nurse license
- CPR/BLS certification
- Knowledge of triage procedures and clinic, physician office, and/or urgent care experience
- Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards
- Knowledge of procedures and standards for administering medications and patient care aids
- Ability to educate and clearly communicate with patients and/or families about disease, care, and treatment
- Ability to convey information in writing and verbally
- High interpersonal skills for handling sensitive and confidential situations
- Demonstrated poise, tact, and diplomacy
- Analytical ability and critical thinking to gather and interpret data and develop, recommend, and implement solutions
