About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide skilled nursing services under the direction of a physician or midlevel provider
- Provide safe, high-quality patient care within the LPN scope of practice
- Room patients and obtain and document vital signs
- Administer medications and IV fluids
- Perform treatments and collect specimens
- Prepare patients and exam rooms
- Assist providers with examinations, procedures, testing, and real-time documentation
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes or adverse reactions
- Educate patients within scope
- Coordinate laboratory specimens, results, and follow-up care
- Sterilize equipment and manage supplies and inventory
- Support scheduling and clerical tasks
- Adhere to safety, infection control, and compliance standards
- Complete assigned duties and special projects
Requirements
What you’ll need- Graduate of a school of Practical Nursing
- Current Practical Nursing License in the state of Ohio
- Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards
- Knowledge of appropriate procedures and standards for administering medications and patient care aids
- Compassionate team player focused on providing excellent patient care
