About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide skilled nursing services to patients under direction of a physician or midlevel provider
- Collect and analyze patient health data to determine diagnoses and expected outcomes
- Develop and implement plans of care to attain expected outcomes
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team
- Perform professional nursing work including patient care as outlined by physicians
- Provide patient and family health education and health assessment
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associate Degree in Nursing from a CCNE or ACEN accredited nursing program
- Current Ohio Registered Nurse license
- CPR/BLS certified
- Knowledge of triage procedures
- Clinic, physician office and/or urgent care experience
- Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards
- Knowledge of appropriate procedures and standards for the administration of medications and patient care aids
- Ability to educate and communicate with patients and families regarding disease and proper care
- High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations
