About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Ensures, organizes, and maintains an active, accurate, and operational surgery schedule
Responsible for training new staff members
Maintains performance that meets corporate and department standards including productivity, QA and attendance
Initiates C-9s with the Ohio BWC and monitors approved visits
Participates/supports OSUWMC Communication and Marketing initiatives
Manage daily clinic schedules and work with management and clinical teams
Serve as a point of contact for patients/families
Resolve complex customer issues in timely manner
Participate in development and implementation of initiatives to improve operational processes
Act as floor leader to staff by providing feedback

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School diploma
2 or more years of experience in a healthcare environment or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum of 1 year of employment as a Surgical Scheduler with OSUP or equivalent experience at OSU within the last year
