About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee and implement the prevention, assessment, management, treatment, rehabilitation and counseling of athletic injuries and conditions
- Review, obtain and order diagnostic studies
- Perform appropriate physical examinations
- Construct and provide rehabilitation education to patients
- Assist physicians with in-office procedures
- Coordinate scheduling of appointments, consultations, testing and procedures
- Complete required documentation of patient care
Requirements
What you’ll need- Licensure by the State of Ohio Occupational, Physical Therapy, and Athletic Training Board
- Certification by the Board of Certification for Athletic Trainers
- Current BLS Certification
- Bachelors or Masters Degree from an Athletic Training Education Program
- Previous experience working with athletic populations and/or experience working in an orthopedic/sports medicine physician clinic
