About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist with direct patient care
- Perform specialized medical procedures of a routine nature
- Assist medical and/or nursing staff in the examination and treatment of patients
- Room patients, measure and record vital signs
- Complete patient interview and history
- Prepare patients for examinations, tests, and treatments
- Assist with procedures as ordered by physician

Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or equivalent
- A diploma from a Medical Assistant Program OR at least 1 year of medical assisting experience OR Military Medic training OR EMT-P (Paramedic) training OR Equivalent of 1 year combined relevant medical assisting experience and education
- Medical Assistant Certification preferred
