Patient Service Associate – Primary Care

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coordinate and provide patient support services such as answering phones and directing calls
- Greet patients/visitors and maintain patient medical records

- Assist with patient scheduling and perform office functions
- Handle patient payments as applicable
- Monitor length of patient’s wait and notify appropriate party of excessive wait times
- Maintain the cash drawer and reconcile daily cash
- Contact insurance companies and obtain registration or procedural pre-certifications
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School diploma or equivalent
- One year of customer service experience
- Skill in problem solving
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to convey information both in writing and verbally
- High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations while providing exceptional customer service.
