About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Under the direction of the Sr. Director of IT, provide consultation in the planning, design, development, and delivery of training for EPIC or other electronic medical record systems
Assess clinical training needs of the organization, department and end user
Deliver training to various audiences (new hires, refresher training, skill enhancement and system update training)
Responsible for managing moderately complex clinical applications training issues and problems; provides technical support in response to user issues and questions pertaining to training
Implements training/communications; coordinates system change communications
Assists in the development of change management strategies and training needs
Provides and recommends creative solutions to processes and procedures for enhancements
Serves as a liaison between training and IT to coordinate needs assessments, impact analyses, resource utilization, system requirements and integration methodologies

Requirements

What you’ll need

Associates degree in a clinical field, information systems or related field, or equivalent education and experience
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience with an electronic medical record or system
If not already certified, the IT Training & Optimization Analyst must obtain an Epic build certification within 6 months of the date of hire
