About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Under the direction of the Sr. Director of IT, provide consultation in the planning, design, development, and delivery of training for EPIC or other electronic medical record systems
- Assess clinical training needs of the organization, department and end user
- Deliver training to various audiences (new hires, refresher training, skill enhancement and system update training)
- Responsible for managing moderately complex clinical applications training issues and problems; provides technical support in response to user issues and questions pertaining to training
- Implements training/communications; coordinates system change communications
- Assists in the development of change management strategies and training needs
- Provides and recommends creative solutions to processes and procedures for enhancements
- Serves as a liaison between training and IT to coordinate needs assessments, impact analyses, resource utilization, system requirements and integration methodologies
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associates degree in a clinical field, information systems or related field, or equivalent education and experience
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience with an electronic medical record or system
- If not already certified, the IT Training & Optimization Analyst must obtain an Epic build certification within 6 months of the date of hire
