About the role
- Deliver 2026 and 2027 US sales outcomes.
- Source, close, and manage international growers.
- Define the targets: US and international sales outcomes require intervening goals and steps.
- Set the segments and build the team: Determine the optimal regions, headcount per region, and costs to deliver the target outcomes.
- Farmer Relationship Management: Ensure farmer expectations are set and met.
- Performance Reporting: Provide the leadership team with detailed sales pipeline and performance data with clear, data-driven forecasting and a "no-excuses" approach to hitting milestones.
- Market Intelligence: Deeply understand the market landscape and grower pain points to effectively position TPS as the transformative alternative to traditional seed potato.
Requirements
- 12+ years experience, with a proven track record of exceeding aggressive revenue targets in the agricultural sector.
- Successfully built and managed a national sales team, ideally during a high-growth "hyper-scale" phase.
- Experience working with “top producer” growers in international markets.
- Detail-oriented and process-driven. You do not shoot from the hip but treat sales outcomes as methodically driven with clear milestones and processes to drive success.
- Strong management philosophies that tie to driving your team to deliver sales outcomes.
- Strong recruiting ability - can identify and sell top talent to join the team.
- Willing to be in the field, in the boardroom, and across the country/world—wherever you are needed.
- You are motivated by helping farmers with novel groundbreaking technology and the opportunity to change a multi-billion dollar industry.
