About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead management of the company's social dialogue — oversee CSE meetings, union relations, and local negotiations with a strategic, advisory approach
- Ensure legal compliance across all HR practices; perform thorough legal research to protect the company's position and ensure alignment with French labor law and collective agreements
- Prepare mandatory social reports (BDESE, gender equality index, etc.)
- Monitor legal developments and alert leadership to changes that affect the business
- Extend compliance expertise internationally — benchmark legal obligations in subsidiaries, conduct international HR reviews, and coordinate with external counsel to maintain consistent standards
- Own the data — manage complex datasets, maintain rigorous trackers, and deliver clear analyses and insights to inform strategic HR decisions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Expert knowledge of French labor law — Master's degree in Labor Law (Droit Social) or equivalent experience, with a strong command of the Code du Travail and recent reforms
- Strong analytical rigor and attention to detail — able to manage complex data, maintain trackers and regulatory datasets, and identify issues others may miss
- Strategic mindset — views labor relations as a source of competitive advantage rather than only a compliance requirement
- Proactive, ownership mindset — identifies risks before they escalate and takes initiative to resolve problems
- Committed to fostering a culture of constructive, candid social dialogue that builds lasting trust with stakeholders
- Native French fluency for legal drafting plus fluent English (spoken and written)
