About the role
- Act as a trusted advisor to leaders and team members on people matters, grounded in Ofload’s culture, policies, and Australian employment law
- Coach leaders to build high-performing, diverse and inclusive teams
- Support leaders through performance conversations, team challenges, and day-to-day people decisions
- Keep leaders close to what’s happening in their teams — both the wins and the risks**
- Work with leaders on organisational design, workforce planning, and role clarity
- Support team effectiveness and help set teams up to scale well**
- Build trust across the business and handle employee concerns with care and follow-through
- Partner with teams on engagement initiatives and help lift overall employee experience**
- Own the quality and accuracy of people data for your business area
- Track and interpret trends across attrition, engagement, and exit feedback to spot issues early and guide action**
- Drive and deliver key people initiatives and projects across your groups
- Facilitate workshops to educate leaders and gather insights from teams**
- Stay across market trends and bring practical ideas to improve how we operate
- Look for ways to simplify, improve, and scale our people practices
Requirements
- 2 years+ experience in HR function, with at least 1 year in a Business Partner or Advisor role
- Background in people ops / operations/ finance will be be highly regarded
- Sound business acumen and proven experience in partnering with leaders in a fast-paced, scaling organisations
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across all levels of leadership
- Experience with organisational design, workforce planning, and change management
- Demonstrated ability to coach leaders through performance and employee relations matters
- Strong analytical skills with experience leveraging people data to drive insights
- Sound knowledge of Australian Employment Law
