About the role

  • Identify and target new business opportunities to expand Ofload's customer base in Australia.
  • Develop and implement effective business development strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, understanding their requirements and providing tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with the Commercial and Marketing teams to develop compelling sales pitches, presentations, and proposals.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and generate leads.
  • Lead negotiations and contract discussions with potential clients to secure new business partnerships.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on business development activities, sales pipelines, and progress towards targets.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in business development.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as Sales Director role or Senior Business Development Manager
  • Strong understanding of the Australian logistics market, industry trends, and customer needs.
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully driving business growth and achieving sales targets.
  • A hunger for success and the ability to create opportunity.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent networking and relationship-building abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to conduct market research and analyse data to identify opportunities.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other relevant business tools.
  • Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel as required.
